Iberostar Waves Tucan, Playa del Carmen

I had a fantastic experience at this resort, with beautiful grounds teeming with wildlife, including monkeys and peacocks. The beach and pool areas were lovely and spacious, perfect for relaxing. While the food at the buffet had its days of lack of variety, the a la carte restaurants, especially the Japanese, stood out with excellent offerings. One downside was the resort's popularity on weekends, leading to overcrowding, which made some areas less enjoyable.

I had a fantastic time at the Iberostar Tucan in Playa del Carmen! The resort is beautifully maintained with friendly staff that truly go above and beyond. My room was perfect, and the beach was simply stunning. However, the dining options didn't fully meet my expectations, particularly for someone looking for a wider variety of healthy choices. Also, the issue with loungers on the beach was a bit frustrating, requiring early mornings to secure a spot. Overall, it's a wonderful place to unwind, but a couple of improvements would make it even better.
